We rocked up Saturday afternoon and went along to the bonfire and fireworks at Mallory and had a mega time, the bonfire was massive and the fireworks were brilliant!

I was entered in the Supersport Race of the year, Open and Superbike race of the year.

Sunday morning it was raining and 9:30 I was out for Supersport practice and then Superbike, we made a change on the front suspension and it made a big difference and I felt really good on the bike in the wet. next up was Supersport qualifying and I qualified 4th with a time of 1.00.4 then qualified 12th out of 24 and top 600 in the Superbike race of the year with a time of 59.5. I was pretty happy with those qualifying session and was looking forward to having some fun in the races!

First up was the Open class which had almost everyone in from 600-1000cc and I was 9th on the grid, I had a good race and was battling with Blunt, Jackson and Palmer, in the end I came 9th

Next up was the Supersport race of the year. I started 4th and there was 11 riders on the grid, I got a good start and I was with Stapleford and Palmer for most of the race then started to drop off and was about a second behind and Collier past me he then bridge the gap to Stapleford but I couldn't quite as I felt my tyres were shot as they were scrubs and it was just starting to dry. I was about a second behind when I saw Collier make a silly move on Stapleford at the hairpin, which he was never going to make! They both crashed and I moved up to 2nd about a second behind Palmer. I had a good race and was chuffed with 2nd! My best time was a 57.9

Final race for me was the Superbike race of the year. I started 12th on the grid and gambled with a intermediate rear tyre as the sun was out and it was slowly drying. I got a good start but the track wasnt quite dry enough at gerards so lost time on the opening laps to the guys on wets but I had a good race with Dave Johnson on his BMW 1000 I finished 12th 0.1 behind Johnson.

All in all was a good day and well worth doing! looking forward to next years race! big thanks to Stuart Hicken and Eddie Roberts for the event and also EMRA for running the racing.

Also thanks to Mark Hanna and Road and Race for a mega bike again and all their help this year and looking forward to 2015. Thanks to all my sponsors The Pipe Werx, Oxford products, HJC, Muc Off, Purbrook garage, Maxton, Kushitani UK and Vroom media.
