Here you will find the lastest news and results of Sam's fortunes as he competes this season in the Junior Powerbike Class (he is the youngest to compete in this class) with Club Thundersport GB in 2009, stepping up from the Aprilia Superteen and Formula 125cc classes he competed in last year – see the rider profile page for Sam's full race history.

He has been lucky enough to have been given the opportunity to ride for the Knight Road Racing Team in 2009. On the Ducati M800cc ie nicknamed 'Tango'.

This is a Ducati Monster 800ie, an aircooled twin. The standard bike has been modified for racing by adding:

Clip-ons, Up-rated forks, Up-rated brakes, Rear Ohlins, 9** fairings, Rearsets, Power commander, Lightened fly wheel, Open airbox, Full exhaust system by MHP, Sigma full slipper clutch

Tango makes 78 bhp at the rear wheel on a Dyna Pro dyno
