FP 1 and 2: Took session one pretty easy learning the track, the track was
different from most in Spain been tight and twisty almost like a British track. We changed the gearing for session 2 and the bike felt good. I was happy with the the bike and ready for Qualifying tomorrow. Qualifying 1 and 2: In Quali 1 I was struggling to find grip but I managed to set a time of 1:34.9 which wasn’t great. I was 23rd on the grid at this point. Quali 2 I did 2 laps then lost the front into the fast left hander and that was it I was 23rd on the grid for tomorrow, I was pretty annoyed with myself because I know I could have qualified a lot better. Race: I got a good start although I done a pretty big wheelie. I got up to 12th overall by lap 3 and was moving up the field having some good battles and changing positions a lot with other riders its was a hard battle but by lap 9 my front tyre had no grip and came into a tight right corner before the back straight and lost the front. I was not happy because I was 10th overall my best position yet and the front tyre let me down. Through out the race I must have saved the front end about 3 times I knew it was a matter of time before the front went. Luckily I was fine and the bike wasn’t to bad just a handlebar and fairings. Overall: Not the best weekend but I proved I can run in the top 10. Just need some luck and a race to come together.
